In July, it was revealend that Theophilos had sold 1200 acres of church land in West Jerusalem to Israel developers. 

The rage against Theophilos has not died town. Twenty one lawyers and national figures, representing 309 individuals, submitted a legal complaint to the Attorney General in Palestine on Wednesday against Theophilos, who sold christian land to Israeli developers.
